Summer So Far

Hi it’s me again Slade Rock.

This summer is different from the last summer.

Last summer I was in Texas where I could go swimming every day, this summer I’m in Massachusetts where we can’t go swimming very often. But tonight should be fun - after dinner I’m going to go eat ice cream. We are going to Ben and Jerry’s to get the ice cream.

This summer instead of going swimming I’m playing the Wii a lot.

I just had my birthday party and I got a lot of gift cards. I spent my Target gift card on three new Wii games: My Sims Kingdom, Wario Land Shake It and Nerf. I really like My Sims Kingdom, what you do is you meet the king - King Roland - and he chooses a new wandoiler. A wandoiler is a person with a magical wand that helps make the kingdom a better place, right now I unlocked a new land.

I’m also reading a book called Stone Fox. I’ve read it before and it’s about a boy and his grandfather. One day grandfather was in bed way past his usual wake up time and he wouldn’t talk or anything. So the little boy decided to try to make his grandfather feel better by working on the farm they owned. I’m also reading another book called The End Of The Beginning. It’s a good book about an adventure of a small snail and an even smaller ant.
